Naugatuck River Race Results - May 10, 2008
Mike Metcalfe rides some
rapids in the Naugatuck River
Saturday afternoon during the
Naugatuck River Race. Metcalfe
won the novice portion of the
race. Proceeds from the race
will benefit The Naugatuck River
Revival Group a non-profit group
focused on the river's revival.
An estimated 208 boats
traveled the course from the
Platts Mill section of Waterbury
to along Railroad Ave. in Beacon
Falls. Rep-Am.com
Our great Naugatuck River now
flows with the assortment of
boat colors in contrast of years
past, please help us with our
efforts to continue to clean and
maintain this beautiful river.
